Hello,

I tried to reproduce without success on Debian 9.5 with Rudder 4.3.6. 
What is your exact version Debian version ( cat /etc/debian_version or 
whatever rudder sees ;)

Given what you observe, it could be linked to systemd... I will ask 
around, perhaps Alexis would have an idea.

In the meantime, is there anything special in:

- systemctl status rudder-agent.service?
- /var/log/rudder/agent-check/check.log ?
- /var/log/rudder/install/rudder-agent.log ?
- journalctl -u rudder-agent ?
