Currently you see
Node Name Machine Type OS Name OS Version OS SP Last seen

I propose you change this to:

Node Name Machine Type OS Name OS Version OS SP Last inventory

The reason being that group searches are run against inventory information, not reports.
I was puzzled a group search didn't give the right results vs. what I saw in the shell. (Package was already updated)
The reason was of course that this node's inventory keeps failing.

It would be easier if one could see this more critical information.
