Hi,

I am looking for an XML Schema or DTD File for validating the metadata.xml file.

I would like to setup an pre-commit hook with git and xmllint in order to check those files.

Hi Christophe,

A first step could be to run the scripts/check-techniques.sh script in the rudder-techniques repo. It does some basic syntax and error checking.

It could also be easily extended to use a real schema/DTD when that's available.
