Description

Will having multiple ethernet interfaces, each with a different IP address for nodes to contact the server from different networks, cause anything to break? I would assume that a specific node would contact the Rudder server from the appropriate IP for the network it is on.

The nodes contact the server from the address they have in the policy_server.dat file.
It is possible to specify a different server address on different nodes even if they all point to the same server.
They always use this info from this file and do not use the name for anything else, so this should work.

Will you have a given server address for a given node or will you have multiple server address for a single node ?

Since the server would be have ethernet interfaces on different networks, the server would have multiple IP addresses.

Sorry, I think I misread the question. For a specific target node, it would only contact the Rudder server on a single IP address. A different target node might contact the same Rudder server on a different IP address.

OK, so this should work.
