Rudder server
Rudder agent

Following commands are executed as the root user.

Update your yum repository:

echo '[Rudder_4.1]
name=Rudder 4.1 Repository
baseurl=http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-4.1/RHEL_$releasever/
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://www.rudder-project.org/rpm-4.1/RHEL_$releasever/repodata/repomd.xml.key' > /etc/yum.repos.d/rudder.repo

Replace RHEL_7 with your Enterprise Linux version if necessary.

Rudder server

For Rudder server, upgrade the rudder-* and ncf-related packages:

yum update "rudder-*" ncf ncf-api-virtualenv

and after the upgrade of these packages, restart jetty to apply the changes on the Web application:

service rudder-jetty restart

From version 3.1, Rudder provides an SELinux policy. You can enable it after upgrading your server with:

sed -i "s%^\s*SELINUX=.*%SELINUX=enabled%" /etc/sysconfig/selinux
setenforce 1

Rudder agent

For Rudder agent, upgrade the rudder-agent package:

yum update rudder-agent

You can now upgrade your local techniques.
