Description

Following these instructions: http://www.rudder-project.org/site/get-rudder/vagrant/

  1. `sed -i` doesn't work on Mac OS
  2. I'm not sure the /etc/hosts stuff is still needed at all?
  3. Downloading the base box doesn't work because Vagrant doesn't follow the HTTP redirect from dropbox (I'm using Vagrant 1.7.2) (remove the box on your machine with 'vagrant box remove' to reproduce)

  1. Oops, you are right, we'll take a look at this :)
  2. Yup, normally it still is, but since a lot of things has changed (at least in 3.0), I'd like to test this before confirming.
  3. Can you please tell me which box were you trying ? (we support multiple OSes)

The box was `debian-7.0-amd64-minimal`, from `vagrant up server_debian`.

All right. We try to keep up with the box versions we get from vagrantbox.es, but they are... quite volatile, at best...

I'll update the Vagrantfile with a new (and fetch-able) box!

Thanks for your patience, you might want to try with a centos box if possible in the meantime ?
