<br>
Some tests needs a local database on the machine, they are
designed to be run on development platform:
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.rudder-project.org/foswiki/Development/SettingUpADevelopmentEnvironment#Create_and_populate_databases">http://www.rudder-project.org/foswiki/Development/SettingUpADevelopmentEnvironment#Create_and_populate_databases</a><br>
<br>
You can skip tests from your build process by launching maven
using that option:<br>
<br>
-Dmaven.test.skip=true<br>
<br>
Then you should not have any problem with it :)<br>

First of all, nice to meet all of you !

I would like to start a subject to see if there is any need
to make an

AUR package for Archlinux users ?

In my very very long quest to start the development a CLI
tool for

rudder, I will need to run it on Archlinux.

Is there any objections to that kind of initiative ?

Hello Alexis,
<br>
<br>
There is absolutely no objection, you are very welcome to do
so :)

Please tell us when you succeed, we'll be happy to include
your work in

+1 for this, it would be great to have!
<br>
<br>
Check out the existing packages on
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/normation/rudder-packages/">https://github.com/normation/rudder-packages/</a> and just ask here
or on

rudder-dev if you have any questions!
