Hi all

I'm new to rudder. I am planning a test deploy to evaluate rudder
in my job. I am looking for recommended platform but i didn't find
any suggestions.

Our standard linux server is CentOS/Oracle Linux, but we haven't
any problem to install Debian or Ubuntu if it is reported to run
better.

So, is there any recommendation for root server?
Hello Fernando !

As far as I know, a lot of community users use RPM based OSes,
especially RHEL 6 based ones, and we do test Rudder a lot on Debian
based machines (primarily Debian ones).

I would say that CentOS or Oracle is fine (as long as it is a
version 6.X) in your case.

For the agent, you can use any supported OS without concern :)

Regards,
