We are very proud to announce that we have just released a new
version: Rudder 2.9.0 RC1.<br>
<br>
Major new features include:<br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>NCF framework is now included in Rudder (<a
href="https://github.com/Normation/ncf">https://github.com/Normation/ncf</a>)</li>
<li>Rule can now be organized by category, allowing you to order
them</li>
<li>You can choose to apply a Directive to Rules directly from the
Directive interface</li>
<li>Every table of Rudder web interface will now remember how many
entries to display</li>
<li>You can configure parts of the CFEngine server behavior
directly from Rudder web interface </li>
</ul>

This software is in "release candidate" status and is the first
release candidate of the 2.9 branch (2.9.0~rc1). If no major
bugs are found, a "final" release of 2.9.0 will be released next
