There is way "do once" configuration in Rudder (so far). <br>
You define policies that have to be always true on your systems.
Depending on your needs, what you may want to do is to :<br>
- Check the "Enforce the content of the file" in the directive based
on Enforce a file content; only for a while (> 10 minutes), then
uncheck it (probably because you'd like to reset files on your
system and do something afterward)<br>
- Don't check the "Enforce the content of the file", define the
content of the file you want to have, and the content of lines you
want to remove.<br>

To offer more relevant feedback, could you explain what you are
trying to achieve ?<br>
