Dear community,

The Rudder team is very pleased to announce we have just released a new
version: Rudder 6.2.8.

Major changes:

Performance & consistency

  * Big improvement on nodeinfo cache:
      o orders of magnitude better performances, especially on sustained
        thoughout of incoming inventories on large (>10k nodes)
        installation,
      o several consistency problems (on node deletion, on concurrent
        access with inventories)
  * Other performance enhancements on inventory processing, policy
    generation.
  * better incoming inventory handling

Security:

  * several potential JS injections corrected with better inventory data
    sanitation
  * potential command injection through plugin command
  * use bcrypt for the optional master admin's password

OS:

  * Debian 11 agent support

More details can be found in the changelog:

https://docs.rudder.io/changelogs/6.2/index.html

This is a bug fix release in the 6.2 series and all installations of 6.2
