Hi folks,

The Rudder community will gather at the occasion of the Configuration
Management Camp Gent from 3 to 5 February 2020. This event brings
together specialists and newcomers alike that are interested in
infrastructure and configuration management generally or specifically
involved in a given community : Rudder, Puppet, Saltstack, Ansible,
Terraform...

We will present the new features of Rudder, but above all we would like
you, Rudder users, to present a talk! Tell us what you do with the solution!

You can submit a talk for Configuration Management Camp on the CFP
platform, both for the main track and Rudder’s dedicated room (until
Sunday 3 November) at:

  https://cfp.cfgmgmtcamp.be/2020/

Why is it the must-attend event in the IT infrastructure automation?
--------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the 9th edition of the event, which attracts communities from
all over the world : users, contributors, consultants, integrators,
analysts, commentators, bloggers, journalists, and anyone else who is
interested in participating.

The conference is a place where ideas are exchanged, old friends get
together, new friends meet. With a Main Room that presents major
cross-cutting topics and fascinating feedback, several dev rooms are
dedicated to the different communities. Rudder has a dedicated room,
allowing you to gather with us and discuss new features, the roadmap and
a whole lot of things about Rudder.

We don't have a "Rudder Fest" (for now!) so this is the best moment to
meet the Rudder community, its contributors and developers!

What can we talk about?
-----------------------

For the Rudder room, any topics related to configuration management in
general or Rudder in particular, or your specific use of Rudder would be
great.

Remember, what you do day to day may seem obvious to you, but others are
very keen to hear about it, and it will always make a great basis for
discussions. A few ideas:

* Feedback talk: look at my Rudder setup, what I do with it, how I
worked around these issues
* Future talk: what I'd like to do with Rudder or see in Rudder
* Rant talk: the stuff that didn't work well and needs to be made easier
* Pro tips talk: how you make life easier with Rudder, what hacks you've
set up to improve your setup
* The learning process: how you went from no automation or other
automation tools to Rudder, or how you learnt yourself or taught your
colleagues about using Rudder.

Anything goes, of course!

Feel free to reach out if you need a hand submitting or feedback on your
idea - we’re happy to help.
