[rudder-users] Rudder 2.4.2 available!

We are proud to announce the availability of a new version of Rudder: 2.4.2.

This is a maintenance release in the 2.4 series. All installations of
2.4.x should be upgraded when possible.
This version of Rudder is in stable status. It has been thoroughly
tested for stability to be highly reliable, and is already in use on
several production platforms.

It contains the following list of bug fixes and changes compared to 2.4.1:

    Improve group historisation to store nodes on each group change (

    Technique "Manage files and folders": Add possibility to force
creation of symlink in case of already existing file, folder or link. (

*** Core ***

    Fix system Technique 'DistributePolicy' which didn't have reports
from the server when updating promises and was in a "No Answer" state (
#3106)

*** UI ***

    Fix popup stuck in invalid state when disabling/deleting a directive
and omitting the change message when set as mandatory ( #3086)
    Prevent 'Enter' to do any action when focus is in filter input box
of Directive ( #3047)
    Add 'change message' box in the new rule screen ( #3083)
    Various fixes ( #2168, #3081)
