[rudder-users] order rules

My problem may be linked to the fact that I have not set correctly Ruder.
I created several rule, the first rule instqll freetds and the second install php.
explanation:
Installing php libraries of the need for the connector mssql freetds, the freetds rules should apply before the rules php.
The solution may be to create a single rule that contains instructions for my 2 previous using different priority level for each technique?

In most case, you should only rely on the convergence model : rules are continually applied and verified in no particular order. If one breaks and is repeared, then at the next iteration, other depending on them will be repeared to.

In some rare cases, that model is not sufficient. Perhaps are you in such a case, could you give more information about what you are trying to do and why/hom there is a dependency between your rules ?
