[rudder-announce] [Release] Rudder 2.11.11 and new naming conventions

Dear community

We are very excited to announce the availability of a new version of 
Rudder: 2.11.11.

This is a bug fix release in the 2.11 series and all installations of 
2.11.x should be upgraded when possible.

We also decided to change Rudder version naming convention, by renaming 
'stable release' into 'extended support release' (ESR).

Nothing changes for you and for Rudder release maintenance condition, 
see our FAQ for more details: 
https://www.rudder-project.org/site/documentation/faq/#what_is_the_versioning_policy

Therefore, we decided to promote 2.11 release as ESR.

It is recommended to upgrade all pre-2.11 installations to 2.11 as soon 
as possible to enjoy the latest features and improvements of a more 
mature and stable version.

When we release a new version of Rudder it has been thoroughly tested, 
and we consider the release enterprise-ready for deployment.
